my love for the seventies tv show charlie's angels was probably highly-influenced by my older sister and her love for all things retro. and while the other characters were intriguing and fantastic role models for my young impressionable mind, i was always drawn to farrah fawcett. she was the prettiest and i wanted to be just like her. of course, at the time, i hadn't quite realized actors in real life weren't always like their alter egos--so when i wanted to be just like farrah it was because i wanted to be in a tv show where i got to play the beautiful and successful female spy. what a cool job.
