TOMS.

the most popular shoes i've seen in the bay area are chucks and toms. i have a pair of chucks--faded navy blue. i love them. i don't yet own a pair of toms and i think i must be the only californian left without a pair. i've loved the style and idea behind toms (one for one) since first hearing about them a few years ago but never actually got around to securing a pair of my own.

now, i beg the question to those of you who own a pair (and if you don't have a pair but have an opinion, voice it): what do you think? should i buy? if i do, i'm thinking red or olive. talk to me.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.
