photographs of trees.

how amazing are these tree photographs? the artist, myoung ho lee, photographs the solitary trees in their natural environment with a giant white canvas behind them. all of the canvas installation components--poles, rope--are later removed from the photograph through minimal digital retouching with the intent to illustrate the canvas is floating behind the tree. so cool, right?!

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.
