photos for national geographic.

AMAZING photographs from the 2010 national geographic photography contest. (the link came from etymologie, anthropologie's blog. so i'm really not that behind as it may appear.) the photos are incredible--as one would expect if they were going to be entered in a national geographic contest.

the eagle close-up and child on the bridge are my favourites. the child epitomizes summer vacation--net for catching things, the glowing sun, shorts and breezy hair.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.

while growing old together with this blog, and watching it evolve, I've found joy in the milk and toast of my life, and have carved out a little place in the world wide web to record it. stick around, read a few entries -- perhaps you'll find something you love or can relate to.
