let there be light!

i've taken a real liking to these candelabrum from the sundance catalog. they possess a certain old city charm and i love that. very romantic and ethereal.

apartment therapy topped their setting the table: 10 of the best candelabras with the tabletop candelabrum and i must agree. it would look spectacular as the centerpiece—or even just at the head—of a thanksgiving or christmas table.

between the two, my heart belongs to the floor candelabrum. it is the floor lamp i've been searching for. i'm smitten.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.

while growing old together with this blog, and watching it evolve, I've found joy in the milk and toast of my life, and have carved out a little place in the world wide web to record it. stick around, read a few entries -- perhaps you'll find something you love or can relate to.
