i love weekends. i love weekends in the winter. i love not waking up to an alarm. i love eating cereal in bed. i love watching the sun come through my windows. while little can top spending the weekend with my nieces, nephew, brothers and sisters-in-law, i'll still have a time.
remember the fabulous friend i was telling you about that runs animalheadvintage on etsy.com? well, her birthday was last week and so we're celebrating! she's got a bus loaded with friends and we're going on a tour of san francisco. from what i've heard, the bus is a standard old school bus with a protruding nose painted white. how exciting! she promised we'd see some different neighbourhoods and encouraged us to bring some spending money. doesn't that sound like fun? after the bus tour, i'm going to bop around the city and visit some favourite shops. i have a few more christmas presents to buy.
i'm secretly hoping for overcast weather on saturday. christmas shopping is much more enjoyable for me when it's kinda gloomy outside. christmas lights and trees look brighter in the dark.
