(500) love.

french toile wallpaper in her room and a chalkboard wall in his. just two things i'm cr-aaaa-zy about in the movie (500) days of summer. i could list 500 things, at least, i loved about the movie, but seriously, how cool would a chalkboard wall be? and blue french toile wallpaper? yes, please!

i saw it in the theatre this summer, twice, but now i own it, which means i can watch it anytime i like and fill my imagination with beautiful vintage-inspired stuff.

zooey deschanel, lead actress of (500) days of summer, is also the lead vocalist of she & him. think folksy + whim + 60s pop. i still have the ticket stub to that wonderful concert. i was one person away from the stage and bursting with delight.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.
