if i had a library, i would fill it with eclectic pieces like those pictured below from
anthropologie. the chairs are beautiful--but not too very beautiful to sit in (very important!)--and the cabinet is magnificent. i'd load it with my first/limited editions or piles of old maps.

anthropologie has beautiful furniture pieces. outrageously expensive, perhaps, but right up my the-apple-doesn't-fall-far-from-the-tree alley, referring to my mother. my maternal grandparents had exceptional taste in all things as well. seems it's in my blood. -smile-
