in wonderment.

look at the lovely hardbound copy of the classic alice in wonderland i snatched over the weekend. it was the last one on the "all things alice in wonderland table" at barnes & noble and now it's mine, patiently waiting in my bag until i can crack it open again.

a renewed sense of awe and wonderment comes over me as i'm turning the pages in this beautiful book. i love this story.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.

while growing old together with this blog, and watching it evolve, I've found joy in the milk and toast of my life, and have carved out a little place in the world wide web to record it. stick around, read a few entries -- perhaps you'll find something you love or can relate to.
