yippee!
the weekend is moments away.
i've failed in writing about my two past weekends so here's a quick review: i had a friend in town the weekend before last and we visited the farmers market and took in a matinee of alice in wonderland in 3d (better the second time!), had dinner with friends in berkeley and then a nice lunch of cheese, bread, olives, apples and carrots in the sunday sunshine. last weekend i headed to utah again to help ellen's parents (that's so much easier to say than "my brother and his wife" or "my brother and sister-in-law") clean the house and get organized for their move to washington. lots of housework. lots of fun.
and now this weekend i'm heading down to santa cruz with some friends to celebrate easter weekend and watch my church's 2-day conference. i love easter but i love conference weekend even more. the house is right on the beach so i'll do a beach run saturday morning and some shopping and explore the area and eat as much as i can. should be a fun and relaxing weekend, in spite of the overcast and rainy weather predicted. (truth be told, i think beaches are beautiful in overcast weather.)
