carousels: girlish joy.

i want to find this carousel and take a ride on a lovely summer sunday afternoon. it's a girlish joy of mine--carousels and riding in circles. i have fond memories of the merry-go-round in the local park in the town neighbour to mine. the man who operated the ride smoked a pipe and played glorious pipe organ carnival music. i loved it.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.

while growing old together with this blog, and watching it evolve, I've found joy in the milk and toast of my life, and have carved out a little place in the world wide web to record it. stick around, read a few entries -- perhaps you'll find something you love or can relate to.
