ruffles are pretty.

a row of pillows as pretty as the one below makes me wish my apartment had a window bench so i could cozy up on a sunday afternoon in the sunshine with a book in one hand and an ice cream sundae in the other.

the pillows are so frilly and feminine. i love them! i'd adore skirts and dresses made from the same materials and inspired by all the ruffles. so pretty.

in my perfect world, this window bench would be in the living room of my lakefront country house and my bernese mountain dog, delta, would make the floor in front his favourite napping spot.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.
