tulle-time.

tulle is one of my favourite clothing brands. the clothes are brightly coloured and current in style without being trendy--in one day and out the next--and ultra feminine. consider the printed petal layer blouse. or the patterned voile neck tie dress. or the summer classic gingham blouse (pictured below). notice the puff elastic short sleeve and ruffle at the waist. how feminine! i want to wear it to a picnic with white cotton ankle-length pants and eat hot dogs fresh off the grill smothered in mustard and onions.

summers are made of picnics with hot dogs and tree swings. sounds perfect, doesn't it?

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.
