crafted in the u.s.a.

sometimes martha stewart really nails a crafty idea--like her use of map design textiles. i love the door window blind and the pillows and quilt on the day bed, both pictured below. it makes me want to hop out to the closest fabric store and find map printed material to make drapes and pillows. so fun and a great way to demonstrate my love for the u.s.a. in colours other than the standard red, white and blue.

seeing the states that make up this great nation on a pillow, tablecloth or bedspread is nice but if you really want to see this country then get in your car, hook up the airstream, and start driving. it's a great way to spend the summer.
