yippee!
this weekend is one of my favourites. it's the general conference broadcast of my church which means 8 hours of solid teaching from my church leaders. i always look forward to general conference for great spiritual enlightenment and feasting--both of the body and spirit.
because of the general conference schedule, food always plays a major role and this weekend is no exception: i have more granola to bake, banana chocolate chip bread to whip up, and maybe even try my hand at homemade caramels. thankfully the heat wave seems to have drifted off into the fog--now i can spend more time in the kitchen.
i don't usually post videos but i can't get enough of blue skies by noah and the whale, and the video is just as good. it both brings me tears of joy and of sadness--so much love and pain. (p.s. i love the girl in the opening minute twirling about.)
