try and guess my favourite favourite gown. -wink wink-
for kicks, i took their fun quiz "what kind of bride are you?" (my answers are underlined.)
location, location, location. we'll make our merrimentunder a veil of starssomewhere historic and elegant.
our wedding is inspired byan english gardenthe contents of my jewelry box.
our guests will sipspikedlavender lemonade.
to satisfy that sweet tooth, we'll indulge with homemade pies.
ages after the wedding, our friends will still reminisce about the peacocks roaming round during cocktails.
and my type of bride is... (drum roll, please) la bohemienne. hmph. i agree with only a bit of the description so i retook the quiz and now more satisfied with the result: neo-sophisticate.
you possess a certain je ne sais quoi. your friends admire your sense of style. it's important to you that what you wear on this most memorable occasion be something that suits you--not necessarily the "typical" gown. your dress will be unexpected, with structural lines and interesting shape. you imagine wearing it again; reliving the moment in your head, a reminiscent smile passing across your face. you're passionate about entertaining; a consummate hostess. your wedding will be a reflection of your sensibility; refined and elegant but with an acknowledged informality. ... your marriage is an intimate soiree, not a fully orchestrated event.take the quiz and tell me what kind of bride you are.
take some time to check out the site. it's lovely and unique and whimsical. a wedding wonderland.
