a fantastic visual story about a 9-year old girl struggling with voices inside her head telling her to do things like spitting on schoolmates or shouting out or tapping her fingers a certain number of times or walking along the sidewalk a specific way--so much noise. until she signs up for the school play, alice in wonderland, and all becomes quiet for, you see, in wonderland, everything is not so fixed.
visually bright and the characters are charming. it reminds me of finding neverland.
