winter white.

scenes of winter like those below make me want to hurry home to the farm (first picture) and cozy up by the woodburning stove with a book, a dog at my feet, a cat in my lap, and a mug of herbal tea on the corner table. i'd sit there all day, reading and napping, until it was time to take the dogs for a walk across the snow-covered barren hills; our eyes and ears alive with hope of catching a glimpse or peep of other life.
