dear friends, it's time for the weekend!

hurrah!
yippee!
and not just any weekend--easter weekend. how will you celebrate? will you decorate eggs and hide them for little ones to find easter morning? will you host an egg hunt? will you eat delicious easter treats until you're sick?
my easter celebration will be small but magical. sunday night i'll be attending a concert at a local catholic cathedral, lamb of god oratorio: sacred easter celebration. i'm quite excited. the cathedral is just across the lake from me so not only will i enjoy beautiful music on a sunday evening but i'll also get to take a nice walk outside. sunday evening walks are always lovely.
other than that, tonight i'm attending a photography show in the city (we'll grab dinner, too, i'm sure; i'm hoping for vietnamese from sunflower); i plan on switching out my closet with warmer weather items tomorrow and scrubbing down my apartment. any down time i have will be resting--i've been sick on and off this week; no fun.
