white cottage love.

i am l-o-v-i-n-g amie weitzman's cottage. first of all, hello, farm sink in the kitchen. the brushed silver dome lights are a nice touch and the wooden open shelves add some texture. such a cheerful kitchen. second of all, well, there are too many pleasure points to list so i'll leave you to your own devices to scroll through and check out her place. you can see more pictures here.

i love this cottage. the white is bright and cheerful and soft and the wood adds just enough tonal texture to break up the white. the mud room is super fun with the cow hanging on the wall and the bright red bench. what a happy place!

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.

while growing old together with this blog, and watching it evolve, I've found joy in the milk and toast of my life, and have carved out a little place in the world wide web to record it. stick around, read a few entries -- perhaps you'll find something you love or can relate to.
