volume 2 | chapter 63
i love weddings in barns. i just do. and jess and tj did it right. well, from the pictures, it looks like they did everything right, from the pre-wedding hoedown (they are too cute in their hoedown garb) to the rehearsal dinner (the glowing tent on the water is magnificent) to the wedding and reception (rain came down for about 1/2 of the ceremony and then just as they were about to say "i do," the sun popped out with a rainbow! such luck). quite a spectacular event!

here's the skinny on the fun quilt (not something that often pops up at weddings): as part of the response card, jess and tj asked the guests to send a piece of fabric and, to their surprise, nearly everyone did! guests sent everything from denim to baby quilts to shirts to random material. jess took the fabrics and pieced it together into a quilt (a local quilter did the embroidery and finished it off). what a fantastic idea!
