yippee!
friends, i can't tell you how happy and relieved i am it's the weekend! are any of you feeling the same? what are your plans?
as for me, it's fentons tonight (there's a black and tan sundae with my name on it), brunch at lake chalet (i've only been there for dinner; i'm excited to try their brunch menu) tomorrow with a girlfriend i haven't seen in ages (i can't wait to catch up!) and then a presentation at market hall, a very upscale grocery market, by sam mogannam, the man behind bi-rite market in san francisco (i've spoken of the bi-rite creamery a few times, here and here; it's heavenly). i so wish my older brother could join me for the presentation. it's just his kind of foodie wonderland.
the weather is supposed to be quite nice this weekend--hitting almost 80! very un-autumn-like--and so i think a bicycle ride or leisurely hike through one of the many grand parks in the bay area on sunday will be just what i need.
