the official first day of autumn came and went this weekend and you never would've guessed by the temperatures in utah. i was there visiting my new nephew tommy and picnic with family. it was hot, short, and only tommy got to run around half-naked but a great trip. handsome baby, wouldn't you say?
tommy slept through most of the picnic. smart kid. there were too many grownups. luckily, my cousin's kids had tricks to show me so i was with them almost the whole time. that's precisely how i prefer it. grownup conversations can be so taxing on the soul.
