i'd rather be--

the weather is chilly and wet, windy and foggy. so many places i'd rather be than the office. i want to be in it; feeling and experiencing, this amazing weather. i want to be where i can watch it unfold and hear the wind and rain beat on the windows. i want to be cozied up in bed with movies or cooking in stews and soups in the kitchen. i want to be at coffee bar writing and daydreaming.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.

while growing old together with this blog, and watching it evolve, I've found joy in the milk and toast of my life, and have carved out a little place in the world wide web to record it. stick around, read a few entries -- perhaps you'll find something you love or can relate to.
