shoes for my everyday.

in the world of shoes, i love flats. ballet flats especially. and when i came across the mercer flat from marais usa, i knew i had to have a pair.

aren't they lovely? patent leather. cut-out detailing on the sides. this is the very kind of shoe that fills me with girlie glee. if i could, i'd buy a pair in every colour and wear them every day.

i also love their oxford in white suede. i can imagine lacing those up on a saturday morning and walking to brunch, umbrella in hand and scarf tied loosely around my neck.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.

while growing old together with this blog, and watching it evolve, I've found joy in the milk and toast of my life, and have carved out a little place in the world wide web to record it. stick around, read a few entries -- perhaps you'll find something you love or can relate to.
