the weekend is here!
after a long week at work, i'm looking forward to an easy weekend. the weather report is predicting cool temperatures and overcast skies. perfect fall weather. finally.
i'm heading into san francisco on saturday for a bbq during the ohio state and penn state football game. it's being hosted by the brother of one of my best guy friends and they happen to be die-hard penn state fans. uh oh. i'm holding my breath for ohio state. if they have only one more win this season, please let it be this game! so what happens if penn state wins? i sit quietly; i'm a good loser. and if my team wins? i do my victory dance in the corner while my friend—a bit of a sore loser—cries and pounds the wall. go buckeyes! (i'm girlie but i like my sporty events.)
of course, before leaving the city, i'll stop by tartine, my favourite french bakery, for a handful of croissants until i can visit again. i've tried the croissants from other french bakeries and all have paled in comparison to the brown crusty buttery goodness of tartine's croissant.
sunday, i will read and work on my novel. hint: it's a love story.
