curiously uppercase.

i'm too late to pre-order issue 5 of uppercase (deadline was march 15, 2010)—bummer—but i'm still going to order one. they look neat and inspiring and creative! (actually, i want one of each but i should start out with one issue and see how it reads.)

the cover art for issue 5 was done by the genius artist matte stephens. after a quick look-see through his site, i'm a fan of his art style. very cool. very whimsical.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.

while growing old together with this blog, and watching it evolve, I've found joy in the milk and toast of my life, and have carved out a little place in the world wide web to record it. stick around, read a few entries -- perhaps you'll find something you love or can relate to.
