chill out.

for the home-owner with a retro-state of mind: check out the 1950s retro-inspired big chill refrigerator and other appliances. (bonus: the appliances come with all of today's standard amenities.) very groovy. i'm loving the photograph of the classic white fridge below.

i look at my boring standard fridge and it makes me sad, in spite of all the photographs and cute magnets and personalized notes posted on it.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.

while growing old together with this blog, and watching it evolve, I've found joy in the milk and toast of my life, and have carved out a little place in the world wide web to record it. stick around, read a few entries -- perhaps you'll find something you love or can relate to.
