13.1 miles later—

and my legs are still tight and my tan is browning nicely.

my official see jane run race day stats:

ranked 46 out of 389 in my age group;
mile pace 9m03s—woo woo;
ranked 219th in my gender group;
ranked 224th overall out of 2,067 1/2 marathon runners;
official finishing time 1h58m44s—my goal was under 2 hours. hooray! this official time doesn't take into account the bathroom break i made along the way. -wink-

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.
