animal heads and wedding cake.

one of the simple joys of reading blogs is sharing with others what you find. for example, my friend bex, over at animal*head*vintage, is a go-to for all things terrifically vintage. additionally, she'll pop in a post of something a tad obscure but after your brain rests on it for a time you realize the idea works, like her animal head art recognizing the skill of melabo. with her upcoming wedding on the brain and the animal heads used in melabo's art, i can see why bex loved it so. and, quite honestly, i dig it too. having two loving animals on the top of a wedding cake is so much cooler than the standard.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.

while growing old together with this blog, and watching it evolve, I've found joy in the milk and toast of my life, and have carved out a little place in the world wide web to record it. stick around, read a few entries -- perhaps you'll find something you love or can relate to.
