the great kate spade.

while i'm not a kate spade fan (she has some cute pieces and her marketing is generally whimsical and fun), i had to replace my dislike with delight when i saw the classic novel, the great gatsby, turned into a clutch. the price is incredibly steep--a whopping $325!--but i love the idea and the finished product, albeit impractical.

i wonder what f. scott fitzgerald would think seeing his book--famous for critiquing the american dream--made into a glorified wallet and stamped with a rich price tag.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.

while growing old together with this blog, and watching it evolve, I've found joy in the milk and toast of my life, and have carved out a little place in the world wide web to record it. stick around, read a few entries -- perhaps you'll find something you love or can relate to.
