dresses for someday.

i just discovered my new favourite wedding dress site: the vintage wedding dress company out of london. the genius comes from stylist charlie brear in an effort to lessen the frustration of finding unique, cool, restored vintage gowns for the bride.

i loved sifting through the wedding books--there are 8 delightful books full of dresses from the early 1900s to the 1970s!--and seeing all the different styles and the lace and sleeves and hemline variations. the styles of yesteryear definitely appeal to me more than the styles of today.

more additions to my someday collection.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.

while growing old together with this blog, and watching it evolve, I've found joy in the milk and toast of my life, and have carved out a little place in the world wide web to record it. stick around, read a few entries -- perhaps you'll find something you love or can relate to.
