labour day weekend.

last call for summer.

eldorado national forest, here i come! a long weekend of camping, kayaking, fresh water swimming, hiking, stargazing and a little labour before me. i can't wait. we'll also have a flag ceremony every morning to recognize and remember the history behind labour day.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.
