a tale of sweet delivery.

this sounds too good to be true: $35 for a rustic burlap sack filled with 6-7 delicate confections, preserves, pastries and savory breads from master pastry chef, william werner, formerly of quince and ritz-carlton half moon bay.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.
