good little coats.

when i saw this adorable coat from little goodall (via delightful), two names came to mind: jacob and rebekah. at the tender ages of 5 and 2, respectfully, and imaginations as vivid as a crayola crayon box, they're the kind of kids that sport indiana jones' hat and whip or supergirl's cape because it transforms them and gives them magical powers.

they go through these phases of personality exploration and i can see them now running around the house pouncing on each other and roaring after buttoning up the fox or lion coat.

and if you live somewhere that halloween is cold and the child doesn't want to wear a coat over the costume because it ruins it, here's a costume and coat in one! perfect.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.
