maps, spelled out.

i've seen many a neighbourhood maps but these by axis maps are by far the coolest. so far only offering chicago and boston, they accurately represent the city using only words. only words! and manual placement at that. it took them hours to construct the maps. i love maps--always have--and these just took it to the next level.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.

while growing old together with this blog, and watching it evolve, I've found joy in the milk and toast of my life, and have carved out a little place in the world wide web to record it. stick around, read a few entries -- perhaps you'll find something you love or can relate to.
