pretty birds.

words have escaped me in trying to describe what came over me when i first laid eyes on these pieces of crafty art by abigail brown. all i could think of was how gorgeous they are. the peacock is exquisite and the cardinal is vibrant. my faovurite is the long-eared owl in the middle row. he's quite dapper and distinguished.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.

while growing old together with this blog, and watching it evolve, I've found joy in the milk and toast of my life, and have carved out a little place in the world wide web to record it. stick around, read a few entries -- perhaps you'll find something you love or can relate to.
