stencils and brick.

notice the stenciled flooring. isn't it lovely? i can't comprehend the amount of time and work that would go into such a project but i would love to cover my floors with a beautiful stencil design. the large design in the upper right picture is fun--it almost looks like a giant rug. and check out the bright brick ceiling in the photo on the left. how magnificent is that?! it adds dimension and height and texture. love it. love it all.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.
