the long weekend has arrived, finally.

it's such wonderful news. are you excited for the long weekend, too? what kind of plans do you have? unpacking boxes, cleaning, shopping for window treatments, and other moving tricks are on my list as well as play time with my niece and nephew in washington state. and, if i remember correctly, my brother told me there's some kind of annual meat cook-off or something, which really excites me because i love meat; i love meat even more when it's right off the grill with the marks still sizzling.
my older brother will also be unpacking boxes and a moving truck. if there were two of me, i'd be there in ohio helping them, too, homemade chocolate chip cookies in hand. alas, i'll have to settle with sending positive and high-energy vibes through the universe.
my friend klr over at hot diggity blog! once told me the 4th of july is her favourite holiday. and i'm pretty sure there will be a picnic in utah. how will you celebrate this patriotic holiday? be safe in your travels and with sparklers and other firework things. happy july 4th!
