goodbye summer. hello, fall!

i've enjoyed summer and i'm a little sad to see it go but i love and adore everything about fall--the feeling of change in the air; the sound of dry leaves under my footsteps; that crisp burning scent in the air; the thanksgiving holiday; the flavours and smells from my kitchen; adding an extra blanket to my bedding; pulling out my fall clothes (such glorious materials and colours, shapes and styles--from head to hand to foot).

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.

while growing old together with this blog, and watching it evolve, I've found joy in the milk and toast of my life, and have carved out a little place in the world wide web to record it. stick around, read a few entries -- perhaps you'll find something you love or can relate to.
