when i
spotted this adorable
eames elephant on pinterest, i nearly fell out of my chair. no joke! designed in 1945 after ray and charles eames succumbed to their love for creatures, the plywood pachyderm didn't make it to mass production but a cute and colourful
plastic version for kids to climb on and over is available. what a fun addition to a nursery!

i so wish the plywood version was in production. i'd love to get my hands on one. what an amazing piece and what an heirloom it would make!
