yippee!
i'm always excited for the weekend to arrive but after the cr-az-y last few days (maybe you missed wedding wednesday and things i love thursday), i'm even more stoked the weekend is here--i need some down time.
the plans i made on tuesday for the weekend have now completely changed and i'm pretty bummed about that. nevertheless, there's still lots of football to watch, an apartment that needs scrubbed, food to make, and pedicures to be had (we are in full summer temps meaning toes still need to look presentable for open-toed shoes and sandals!). so while it won't be the weekend i initially thought (those plans are on the back burner for another time), it will still be wonderful. after all, the weekend by default is wonderful. don't you agree?
what will you be doing this weekend? any of you shoveling snow yet? picking apples in the orchards? or maybe the leaves in your neighbourhood have perfectly changed to hues of gold and red and a pleasure drive to view the foliage and have a picnic are your weekend plans. it all sounds delightful.
