patterned floors.

patterned floors out of stenciled designs or tiles or the classic black and white big checks pull at my interior design heart strings and, like my brother said in a comment for this similar post, they bring back the elegance of fine european tiles to rustic flooring. awesome. check out this collection i spotted on design*sponge. that bathroom design is larger than life and i love the whole look of the dining room with the open doors and mismatched chairs.

floors are space not to be wasted.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.
