from the weekend.

it was a mild weather weekend in the bay area. lots of sunshine offered warmth but the shadows stayed cool--ponchos and vests were a must. it was perfect weather for a sunday afternoon walk and window-shopping on saturday--and so that's just what we did--with a few stops along the way to take in the view, catch our breath and rest our weary legs, kick a ball around, and reach for a giant lemon.

cb traded in her chic hooded poncho for my vest. she rocked the look with her colourful layers, ribbed tights and pink chucks.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.

while growing old together with this blog, and watching it evolve, I've found joy in the milk and toast of my life, and have carved out a little place in the world wide web to record it. stick around, read a few entries -- perhaps you'll find something you love or can relate to.
