yippee!
yesterday felt like friday so much that i have very little left in me to say. i'm just so happy it's the weekend!
tonight we're heading to market hall (it's a fantastical local market) to lose ourselves among the shelves of olive oil, fancy mustards, flavoured vinegars, and browse all the crates of produce with names we've only heard on the food network shows. hopefully a few of the rockridge shops will be open so we can do more than window shop and then we'll grab some food. i've been craving zachary's deep-dish pizza for ages--thick and chunky tomato sauce, more cheese than any pizza you've had before, sausage and green peppers. it's heaven.
before lunchtime tomorrow we're going to see the lorax (happy birthday, today, dr. seuss! thanks for all your wonderful tales.) and then it's off to hayes valley for macarons from miette and more window shopping. the weather is supposed to be nice; walking one of our favourite neighbourhoods will be a great way to spend time outside.
