today is the first day it actually feels like autumn and my heart is singing. i love this time of year. i love the way it smells and how it feels different; how you can actually feel the sense of change hanging in the air; the crisp air and its faint smokiness; tying on my apron and pouring over the kitchen stovetop; ooo-ing and awww-ing over the colours of the sky and changing leaves. it's the perfect season.
because i knew i couldn't be alone in my adoration for this wonderful time of year, i petitioned a few of my nearest and dearest to share a few things they love.
