monday blues.

sometimes i want to pretend mondays don't exist and stay in bed, wrapped up in blankets, surrounded by pillows, the remote controls within reach and suzy beside me. i want the chill spirit of the weekend to continue, at least for another day, and time to nap and read and stare at our pretty christmas tree.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.
