permanent wall art.
i'm marveling at charlotte mann's wall installations--meticulous work accomplished with a thick black marker. cool stuff. but i wonder--would it smell like permanent marker for days after the work was completed?

[fine] works of art.
see more amazing watercolour pieces like the two below by my brother's new father-in-law, robert d. mcfarland. a handful of them would go very nicely in my cottage in the woods. (here i go, dreaming again.) pictured below is "the milkhouse drawers" and "roadside grocery."

wall art.
now available to the public, limited edition two-sided museum banners from museums such as the art institute of chicago, the san francisco museum of modern art, crocker art museum, and the museum of modern art, that were displayed throughout their museum city announcing the exhibit.
if i had a spare $479 i'd drop it on robert bechtle's retrospective '61 pontiac representing the postwar american culture. i find it captivating, and slightly eerie.
interesting note, the family represented in the painting is his own.
