girl friday.

i don't know kater personally (i'd like to imagine if we bumped into each other at a farmers market we'd be fast friends) but i saw her photos on joanna's blog, a cup of jo, and immediately fell in love with her lipstick, hairstyle, and freckles. what lovely fall photos.

i'm so clumsy when it comes to hairdos that i doubt i could pin my hair into a side chignon well enough to make it look nice and for it to keep longer than thirty minutes--especially without a massive dousing of hairspray. maybe i'll give it a whirl one of these days when i'm feeling extra adventurous.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.
