you know it's going to be a good weekend when you can celebrate the crazy busy week with a trip to fentons with the girls (ps, ayl, and bl) for curly fries and giant sundaes.

the rest of the weekend is still unfolding but i'm pretty sure a hike to pirates cove through the marin headlands is in order for saturday. the weather is supposed to be nice and i'm craving an escape from the city. a day hike is perfect--soothing to my weary city soul.
and if that's all i did this weekend, i'd be happy. maybe i'll get some more writing in. or work a little. or sleep or read. or make another batch of granola. it really doesn't matter. i just want time with my mr. and some homemade food. perhaps a roast and potatoes for sunday dinner. yummm.
